Windchill collars are suitable for all breeds and are designed especially for stronger dogs and working breeds. Being made from synthetic webbing the collars are comfortable, durable and easy to wash, and have minimal wear on the dog's coat. Please note: Collars do not come standard with a buckle as any type of buckle will compromise the strength of the collar. If you wish to have a buckle collar please order it as an optional extra. The Limited-Slip Collar incorporates a slip section has a limited amount of slip or tightening action so that the collar will tighten a few inches when your dog pulls, but without choking the dog. The Limited-Slip Collar is ideal as a gentler replacement for the correction (choker) chain in obedience training, for dogs that pull out of normal collars, for tethering, harness work and for everyday wear. These collars slip on over the head then are tightened until firm on the neck, so it is important that you choose a size that is big enough to slip on over your dogs head. As they have a large amount of adjustment, it is better to order a larger size if you are not sure.

Plastic Buckle - Add $3.00 to price of collar PVC side-release buckle for ease of putting on and removing the collar. (Note: PVC buckle not recommended for strong breeds such as the Alaskan Malamute & Siberian Husky).
Name or phone number is embroidered onto a section of webbing in the colour of your choice - for smaller collars the embroidery may need to be done directly onto the collar.
Lettering for name-tags can be all uppercase (shown at right) or a combination of upper and lower case. Lettering height is approximately 3/4 the width of the webbing. Name/phone number tags are removable and can be added to most Windchill products.
